Entry Requirement:
- Level 4 Certificate in Education OR
- Already within a regulated course centre and needs to upgrade their qualification (such as VTCT, Qualifi, Focus Awards, City & Guilds, TQUK, Pearson and Highfields)

Duration:
- Registration with VTCT for the Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training
- Enrolment process & then access to your online theory portal & assessor
- 4 x Zoom session with your assessor to discuss the theory (as discussed with your assessor directly)
- Online Assignments to Complete from Home
- 4 x Observations (Microteachs – can be completed online on Live Zoom with the Assessor in your own setting)
Assessment:
Observations (microteach) = Yes, you will be required to teach 2 students, for 20-30 minutes on anything you are passionate about, whether its ‘how to make a origami paper cup’ or ‘how to create a powerpoint presentation’. The assessment looks at how you prepare and deliver the information to your ‘learners’.
Career Opportunities:
Self-Employment or Employment as a vocational assessor in the subjects you are qualified in.
Additional Costs:
You will need to purchase your own equipment (e.g. assessor resources) and we also recommend you purchase a text book to support your learning, a recommended reading list is supplied with your training pack.
