Description
The VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Beauty and Level 5 Tattoo Removal is a vocationally related qualification that will prepare you to gain employment as an advanced senior beauty therapist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role. This is a combined course – 2 funded credits required (please see details below)
Entry Requirements:
Either (not both are needed)
- Level 3 Beauty OR
- Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology (This course can be completed alongside this Level 4 at the same time)

LEVEL 5:
- BT5C2.PE1 – Practical Assessment
- BT5C2.PE1 – Invigilated Exam
- UBT273 – Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies (Assignment)
- UBT274 – Advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies (Assignment)
- UBT275 – Advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetic therapies (Assignment)
- UBT276 – Remove or fade tattoos using Q Switched Laser systems (Assignment)
What could this qualification lead to?
- This qualification will qualify you to gain employment as an advanced senior beauty therapist.

What is Government Funding?
It is a scheme run by the Government to allow people to develop or change their careers. You can have up to 4 funded courses in your lifetime to do so.
Level 4 – Advanced Learner Loans – Anyone is entitled to this, no credit checks is required. Amount is repaid from your tax once you are earning above £27,000 per year. You can still use this service, even if you have used 1-3 of your 4 credits elsewhere.

- Lived in the UK for the last 3 years
- Aged 19 years and above

- DURATION: 1 Evening a week in the classroom – all assignments from home – 24 Weeks
