Description
The rationale of the programme is to provide a career path for learners who wish to develop their aesthetic practice capabilities within the health and aesthetic sector. The expected outcome of the Certificate, which is the achievement of a recognised UK Ofqual qualification, is for learners to develop the skills required by organisations and the aesthetic industry globally.
**This course is the only pathway for non-healthcare professionals (non-medics) to further their career to Level 7 in Aesthetics Practice**
PLEASE NOTE: Healthcare Professionals are not required to obtain this course before completing their level 7

- Micro-needling, Dermaroller and Medium Grade Chemical Peels
Pre-Requisites
- Level 3 Beauty PLUS Level 4 Anatomy & Physiology OR
- Level 4 Industry Related Regulated Ofqual Certificate
- PLUS Current and valid Level 3 Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management training – THIS IS DISCUSSED DURING INDUCTION

LEVEL 4
- Practical Assessments: 4 x Superficial Peels & 6 x Microneedling (up to 1mm depth)
- Written Assessments: 4 x SAQ Assignments (Short answer questions) – completed from home
- Additional Resources Reading Materials & Training Videos From Home
LEVEL 5
- Practical Assessments: 8 x Medium Grade Peels, 8 x Dermaroller & 8 x Microneedling (up to 2mm depth)
- Written Assessments: 5 x SAQ Assignments (Short answer questions) AND 2 x Essays (relating to the 5 SAQs) – completed from home
- Additional Resources Reading Materials & Training Videos From Home
TRAINING & ASSESSMENT ATTIRE: Medical Scrubs PLUS closed toed shoes (no trainers, boots or crocs), hair tied back, no jewellery, watches or long sleeves under scrubs.
What is Government Funding?
It is a scheme run by the Government to allow people to develop or change their careers. You can have up to 4 funded courses in your lifetime to do so.
Level 4 – Advanced Learner Loans – Anyone is entitled to this, no credit checks is required. Amount is repaid from your tax once you are earning above £27,000 per year. You can still use this service, even if you have used 1-3 of your 4 credits elsewhere. This course requires 2 funded credits. Level 5 cannot be funded on it’s own.
