The rationale of the programme is to provide a career path for learners who wish to develop their aesthetic practice capabilities within the health and aesthetic sector. The expected outcome of the Certificate, which is the achievement of a recognised UK qualification, is for learners to develop the skills required by organisations and the aesthetic industry globally.
This qualification will prepare learners for employment and support a range of roles in the workplace. This qualification provides a specialist work-related programme of study that provides breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding, along with practical skills required in the aesthetics sector. This qualification will help to prepare professional staff and managers of the future in the aesthetics sector. This qualification provides a generic core of mandatory units that apply in all aesthetics contexts.

- Psychology of Facial Aesthetics
- Botulinum Toxin Injections to the Face and Neck
- Temporary and Reversible Dermal Fillers to the Face and Neck

Learning:
- Foundation Anti-Wrinkle (Inbetween Eyes, Crow’s Feet & Forehead)
- Advanced Anti-Wrinkle (Underarms, Lips, Cheeks, Neck, Nose)
- Foundation Dermal Fillers (Lips, Cheeks, Nasolabial Folds & Marionette Lines)
- Advanced Dermal Fillers (Cannula Procedures)
If you have the above/partial of the above, then you can be RPL’d, which will include a discount
Entry Requirements
- A Level 5 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice (non-medics only)
- Degree or equivalent (medical degree)
- Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management training (or emergencies & complications if includes these)
RPL Requirements
- 2 Years CPD Qualified (1 or Both)
- 15 x Dermal Filler Consultations & Treatments
- 15 x Anti-Wrinkle Consultations & Treatments
- 5 x Evidence of Each within last 6 Months
- Insurance Documents to Confirm How Long You Have Been Insured
- Photos of your work setting to confirm

Recognition of Prior Learning (already holds certificates in in either Foundation of Advanced Anti-Wrinkle & Dermal Fillers)

- 2 x Assignments
- 2 – 4 days in the classroom covering 10 x Anti-Wrinkle assessments & 10 x Dermal Filler assessments at HEE & HSE standards of Health & Safety
